I just wanted to update everyone about the success of our recent IGA Sausage sizzle. By the end of play we managed to sell $972 worth of raffle tickets and sausages for the group. This is a great success, not just from a fund raising perspective but from a PR point of view.
A huge thank you to all the Cubs, Scouts & parents who helped out on the day. Your enthusiasm was really appreciated and it was great to see so many varied BBQ techniques on the hot plate.
As a result of the success we’ve decided to purchase Scout caps for every member, as well as contribute to our Q store for new equipment.
Thanks again to everyone who helped out. It was a great day and lots of fun. A special shout out goes to our one and only Joey Scout Jamie Lachele , who’s adorable smile and demeanor sold raffle ticket after raffle ticket. Well done Jamie!
